NUM-RDP: Network of University Medicine-Routine data platform
The NUM Routine Data Platform (NUM-RDP) project aims to provide a generic routine data platform. “Routine data” means data from clinical routine documentation from patient care.
In the 1st funding period, the NUM supplemented the existing structures of the Medical Informatics Initiative (MII) with the possibility of federated data storage and analysis with the option of central, cross-institutional data merging, storage and publication. In the future, this central data infrastructure will be expanded by a data management point in cooperation with the partners of the MII. In the medium term, this enables collaborative research projects to be carried out by receiving data on all core data set modules from NUM-RDP and the MII from the data integration centers (DIZ) and making them available for broad-consent-based research projects.
